This is a photo of the little porcelain bowl I was talking about earlier. I found it in a charity shop at the weekend, and it cost me the grand total of 99p !!! Don't you just love a bargain !!?
I have shown it next to my crochet hook just to give an idea of the size.
I am hoping I can use it as a yarn bowl. The ones I had been looking at on Etsy were beautiful, but the prices started at around £15 and went up to about £50. Knowing my luck I would spend the money and then break it !!
Anyway, not tried the wool winder yet, so don't know if my yarn cakes will fit inside, but if not I've still got a lovely little bowl for a bargain price.
